Thomas Anderson
Thomas Anderson ist seit 20 Jahren bei der Feuerwehr und arbeitet derzeit als Captain im Tower 3 der Feuerwehr von Charlotte in North Carolina.
Er ist nicht nur Feuerwehrmann aus Berufung, sondern auch ein Mensch, der überzeugt davon ist, dass man nie auslernt. Besonders interessiert ist er an solider Grundausbildung, dynamischen und zielgerichteten Suchtechniken sowie an den vielfältigen Aufgaben der Truck Company - von der Belüftung bis zur technischen Rettung.
Thomas hat einen Bachelor-Abschluss in Brandwissenschaft von der Garner-Webb University. Er ist leitender Ausbilder bei Insight Fire Training LLC, einem Unternehmen, das sich auf die Wärmebildtechnik bei der Brandbekämpfung und deren Einbeziehung in alle Aspekte des Einsatzes bei der Brandbekämpfung spezialisiert hat.
Außerdem ist er für die Entwicklung und Umsetzung von Lehrplänen für die Suche bei der Brandbekämpfung und den Einsatz von Fahrzeugen verantwortlich, die von Abteilungen in den gesamten USA gelehrt und übernommen wurden. Thomas ist der leitende Ausbilder des Kurses Aggressive TIC Search HOT bei FDIC und hat in den gesamten USA und international Such- und Wärmebildausbildungen durchgeführt.
Thomas Anderson has been in the fire service for 20 years and is currently a Captain assigned to Tower 3 of the Charlotte Fire Dept. in North Carolina.
He is a lifelong student of the fire service, his studies have led him to a have a passion in basic firemanship, aggressive and efficient search skills and truck company operations.
Thomas has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Science from Garner-Webb University. He is a lead instructor for Insight Fire Training LLC, a company that specializes in fire ground thermal imaging and its incorporation into all aspects of fire ground application, and is the Search SME, responsible for the development and implementation of fire ground search and truck operations curriculum which has been taught and adopted by departments across the U.S. Thomas is the lead instructor of the Aggressive TIC Search HOT class at FDIC, and has delivered Search and thermal imaging training across the U.S, and Internationally.
